Prophecy and Prediction: Prof. Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke, Esoteric theories of Precognition from Nostradamus to the Present <br>The 16th century was rich in divinatory works. The famous Swiss alchemist and magus Paracelsus published many almanacs, and the prophecies of Nostradamus are still in print. How did they explain the power of prophecy? The massive evidence for prediction and precognition in the twentieth century has led to theories of seriality, meaningful coincidence, the Tao, and synchronicity involving ideas of cosmic unity, correspondences and sympathy. The lecture shows the persistence and importance of esoteric ideas advanced by the 16th century seers. Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke is Professor of Western Esotericism at Exeter University. His many published books include works entitled Paracelsus, Helena Blavatsky, and Emanuel Swedenborg. |

The Gnostic Gospel of Judas George Wood , Lost for over 1800 years the Gnostic Gospel of Judas has not been seen since it was condemned as ‘heresy’ by Irenaeus in 180 A D. This Gospel presents a radical reinterpretation of the spiritual relationship between Jesus and Judas. Far from being the most maligned person in history Judas is presented as the only apostle who understood who Jesus really was. There is also a startling re-appraisal of the ignorance of the other apostles whom Jesus condemns as unwittingly worshipping the demiurge/prince of this world. George Wood leads occasional courses in Gnostic Christianity at the Theosophical Society in London. |

Book Launch: THE SNAKE AND THE ROPE Dr. Edi Bilimoria, Science claims to be objective and to deal only with proven facts, but the innumerable conflicting theories that science propounds remain unresolved. In his book, briefly outlined tonight, the author, an engineer and musician, argues with ample supporting evidence that since time immemorial the universal secret wisdom of the Adepts has held answers to all unresolved problems and explains mysteries concerning Divinity, Space and Time, Energy and Matter, and the role of Sound and Light in manifesting the Cosmos. He also makes predictions about the future course of science and suggests how science and occult science may be harmonized. |

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING AS EXPLAINED BY THE 4 ELEMENTS AND 5 TATTVAS Gill Dorren, Does the picture of Creation portrayed by scientists convey the whole Truth? Or do we need to look at the 4 forces of nature for a fuller explanation? The strong and weak nuclear forces, electromagnetism and gravity of modern science have parallels with the elements of fire, earth, air and water. But the ancient wisdom goes deeper still demonstrating the existence of a living consciousness throughout the cosmos. Gill Dorren is Vice-President of the Astrological Lodge of London. |
